5 months an counting!

Wow, my fifth month is off to a great start!! I am starting to figure out who my family and friends are, I learned to roll over all by myself, and I make my parents laugh all the time! Here is an update on what I have been up to!

My grandma and Grantie Jan came into town and took me to the zoo! It was so much fun! This is me getting ready for my adventure!

I'm such a big boy, I can hold my bottle all by myself!

For some reason, I have an overwhelming urge to eat everything in sight!

Introducing month 4!

I just keep getting bigger and bigger and learning more and more things! Did you know when I look into a mirror, I can see myself on the other side??? It's like having a twin! I had a big milestone this month, I started going to day care! My mommy went back to work and now I get to go to school three days a week and play with my new friends, Diego and Sienna. I even have a new girlfriend named Sara! She is so cute :) I also got to go to my first famiy reunion! WOW, my family is HUGE! I met so many people, I'm going to have to start memorizing names!

I also go to catch up with my godmother, Claire! I miss her!

...and now I am finally big enough to ride on daddy's shoulders! This is my new favorite thing to do!

I am getting so much stronger and now I love to pull myself up during tummy time :)

I am a super big flirt and loved it when my friend Rachel came into town to visit my mom and dad.

The adventures of month 3!!

So, now that we got settled back in at our home in San Diego, I am so thankful will live in such a wonderful place! Phoenix was fun while it lasted, but we definitely do not miss the heat! We do miss our friends and family and are determined to get more of them to move to California :) This month was full of firsts for Asher: his first air plane ride! his first night in a cabin! his first real big smile! Here are the details of his 3rd month below, narrated by Asher of course :)

Today I was babysat for the first time! My mom knew I would have fun with my friend Scarlet and her mom Anna did such a good job entertaining me. She even took some great pictures of me while I was there for my mom :) I was having so much fun that when my mom came to pick me up, I wanted to stay longer!

While I was at my friend Scarlet's house, I also learned how to box! Put em up!


I went to the beach for the very first time! My mom has told me since I was born that I was going to be a beach baby and I never knew what she meant until today! I can't wait to learn how to surf!

That's the ocean behind me! Isn't it awesome?? I had such a good time today :)

We had such a good time with our friends. That is my friend Scarlet's mommy, Anna (aka.. the great babysitter!!

Then it was time to get on my very first plane ride and go to Yosemite National Park! My friend Scarlet's mom and dad are moving back to Iowa and my mom and dad wanted to go on vacation with them, so I got to go along! My mommy is afraid of flights, but I found the plane ride nice and relaxing and I slept the whole way! This is a great view, but I wasn't very happy, the sun was in my eyes!

This is me hanging out in my BOB running stroller! I love it! I can go over rocks or sand and anything else with no problem!

Whew.... this is the most excitement I have had since I came into the world. I am so beat! I'm going to take a nap now, but I can't wait what next month will bring!

Month number 2!

So, I just finished taking the Arizona bar exam and now I can concentrate on spending time with Asher and John before heading back to work in another month. This was our last month in Phoenix and we got to spend it with our friends and family. As much as we will miss everyone, all three of us are ready to get back to the coast!


Asher wanted to tell everyone about all the people he go to meet this month!



I got to meet my Great Grandpa Brad for the very first time and we had a lot of fun together :)

All that screaming made me tired so by the time my Great Aunt Kathy picked me up, it was time for a nap!


Then it was time to take a short road trip to Tucson, where I got to meet even more of my family! This picture is me with my Great Grandma Beverly, I love being held by her :)

Whew! That was exhausting! Now, it's time to just hang out with Mom and Dad and relax!
